PlayStation Plus is beginning to live up to its promise of being a true competitor to Game Pass. Updated on April 24th, 2023 by Michael Colwander: Sony's library of games on PlayStation Plus continues to grow stronger with more games consistently added every month. PlayStation has added a handful of recent first-party games to the list along with a number of great third-party games that are absolute must-plays. The cloud-streaming service that the Extra and Premium tiers offer includes a catalog of hundreds of PS4 and PS5 games, as well as games from older generations like the PS2, PS3, PSP, and original PlayStation. RELATED: 20 Best Multiplayer Games on Xbox Game Pass While all tiers continue to provide players with online multiplayer access for games and monthly free titles, only the Extra and Premium tiers offer a catalog of games available to stream at no extra charge beyond the subscription price. The three tiers, Essential, Extra, and Premium, combine the original online connectivity platform with PlayStation's older streaming service, PlayStation Now. There will also be several games removed from the service on the same day.In June 2022, PlayStation introduced its new tiered PlayStation Plus System. ‘Oléti’ means ‘thank you’ in Drehu, a language spoken in New Caledonia. For now, players can download last month’s titles - Destiny 2: Beyond Light, Evil Dead: The Game, Mafia Definitive Edition, and OlliOlli World - until March 6.
